that's a good idea, but i think is easier we use recruitment server to test maps and see if they are good enough to stay in the server like the idea i had before. We can also do changes to the map like put time 1 respawn.

One problem, that might take a while :/

Well when I am un-capped we shall attack it.

How many maps are there?

I did this on GTAMP server when i sorted out all the maps. It was fun at first but a LOT of work. One of those things where you start of with good intentions but half way through you wish you'd never started lol

I believe the server currently has approximately 900 maps.

Would certainly be a mission! although a lot of maps could be bypassed if we already know theyre quality.

That would be a lot of work - i did it with 350.

If its just respawn that you want changing, i would have thought it might be easier to just get someone to write a script to mass edit the files, since map files are basically text files, and theres only 2 lines you have to add for respawn.

Lol grim we wont test all maps in a day.
We can do like lw used to do.
Select a Sunday when everybody is free and check some of the maps. Not all.
We test and post the results in a topic here.
What you think?

Oh it's more so of opening the resource for the map editing/removing 1 line of text and onto the next one.

The idea of this is to make sure the maps do have respawn and/or it isn't set for very long so it doesn't lead to it being a stupid map and being deleted.

I sort most maps by deleting them when I see a shit one. Although this thread could be used to bring up names of shitty maps to have them removed, fuck testing I spent a whole day once testing close to 3000 maps with DB and ramrod -_-

the problem there is that you can have a good map with a buggy bit in and because of that one bit, ppl rate it low or say its shite, so a "buggy and/or shit map thread" mite help.

Maps are in a archive and ready to be uploaded to here.

Probably split them up 200 each dl and work can begin.
