About inactivity: he was very active at the start of his recruit period so it is not a problem that he is a bit less active now but every time he fails he goes to spec mode. It's not a bad thing that he is spectating other players (to become more skilled by looking at others). In fact, that's a good method to learn some lines as Malekith said but it won't make you better if you don't try them out. The thing is that he starts every race and after a fail he doesn't continue it. The main rule is to never give up.
