Server upgrade

Hot News!

As you might have noticed The SiK server is lagging when we have more than 15 players online. In the next period we will try to solve this issue.

We will also try to upgrade a number of outdated resources and to develop the current options into one bigger menu for a more friendly use.
[SiK]Clark_Kent and [SiK]Evolution will take care of the development.

Note: we know there are a lot of wishes but the first goal is to make the server stable and lag-free. Further progress will be announced by [SiK]Clark_Kent.

Update!

I updated the servers to have a dedicated and lightweight file server for downloading scripts and maps, altho its on the same server I have noticed that it takes 2-3 secs for a specific map (2mb) instead of 10 secs
Please report if its better/worse than before.

I also updated the startup script so restarting the server will be a breeze.

Also, do you guys use voicechat? if not I´ll stop it and lower some lags

Next up is updating the server / scripts to latest versions (If Demon agrees) and a lot of bugfixes.

When that is done we will improve scripts, make GUIs and other fun stuff with our own developer team

About the updates, just update what is needed to be upgrade. I have this already discussed with Demon, he has no problems with it, as long as we have a good back-up, but you made it already. 

I don't know about the voice chat. I never used it, and sometimes it is even annoying when a immature kid is yelling. I always advice to turn the voice volume to zero.

Voice chat isn't needed. As Ruud said it's just annoying when some kiddies us it. I think we can disable it.
If rly some members wanna talk, they can use our teamspeak server or skype.
