holy jesus....
What I reckon ya should do is go for one with half the specs, and then just slyly slide me the rest that ya were gonna spend ;)

Nah but seriously sounds like a pretty kickass machine!

Title: Re: My New PC
Post by: Blacky on June 28, 2011, 08:16:47 AM
omg, that's a mega PC  \m/, this is really expensive, but if you have the money, buy it :)
P.D: what's the price of the GeForce 580 GTX  ???
Title: Re: My New PC
Post by: asablic on June 28, 2011, 09:36:57 AM
That's some hot shit!

Very interesting prices, that cpu is more expensive here but the graphics card is much cheaper.
Here they cost around $484 and $804.
Maybe we should exchange products  :P

Btw, are you sure those components will fit into that case, It looks kinda small on the first look, I would go with big tower.
Title: Re: My New PC
Post by: DemonSeed on June 29, 2011, 02:38:00 AM
I already have an SSD, and yes i'm sure they will fit, I have done hours of research on this build.

For the better 580 GTX's they run from 500-600 bucks.
lol asa, i think i prefer my prices :P

This case is one of the best coolers on the market.

I wish i could have the same one too :)

Title: Re: My New PC
Post by: asablic on June 29, 2011, 02:33:32 PM
Hmm, I don't get it.
So you need to pay 500 to 600 dollars for better models?
What about that lightning extreme model from MSI you posted then cause I never knew there is a gtx 580 edition that costs more than $1000 in any country, Is that actually the price of 2 cards connected to sli mode?
Title: Re: My New PC
Post by: DemonSeed on June 29, 2011, 08:37:06 PM
Well i bought it!
Should be coming in a few weeks :D

lol asa yeah that would be 2 cards, hence the x2 next to it, but i edited it a bit :P

And actually i went with the regular lightning that has only 1.5 gb of ram insted of the 3, because for my monitor the max res is 1920 x 1080 and on comparision reviews the xtreme edition only gets about 1 fps more on average :P If i had a 2560 x 1600 res monitor then i would see much better fps increase.

Oh, the 580 GTX Lightning is $525.99
and the xtreme is $599.00

Title: Re: My New PC
Post by: DemonSeed on July 13, 2011, 09:35:30 PM
As of yesterday, it is now fully assembled and it is one big motherfucker :D

It's my cleanest build by far, removed the back panel and there is room behind the mb to store all the cables, looks really clean and badass.

haven't started much gaming yet, but tested some games, fucking blown away, i came in my pants when i put it all together and it booted up the first time no problem :)

Omg... what pay per month you have??
Title: Re: My New PC
Post by: MoonLorD on April 01, 2015, 08:11:26 AM
You should work 24/7 for a some years to buy these things in Russia.
We have 400-500$ avg. pay per month. Even engineers or elite jobs give you only 500-1000$ per month...

Update Time!

I got TWO GIGABYTE GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Video Cards :DDDDDDDDDDD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125787
$1,391.98 with shipping.

They both ran on my old 1200 watt power supply, but once I tried overclocking them my computer auto-restarted, so I bought this one.
EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2 80+ PLATINUM Power Supply
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438029&ignorebbr=1
$241.52 + $89.39 shipping International Priority DHL to Bahrain from Amazon (Quite fucking pricey :S).

Story Time Kids -_-

Had a nightmare of a time getting this to work (a little tip from my experience, replace ALL the power cables that came with the new Power Supply not some of them even if the old ones fit :S Almost fried my computer, had a wire smoke and get a bunch of sparks o.O, thankfully it was just the wire and I replaced it with a new one and everything worked just fine).

Also if the end of a cable is split, like this 8-pin ATX 12V power connector (http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Sleeved-ATX12V-550mm-PP06B-EPS55/dp/B00A45JA3Y/ref=sr_1_9?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1435578100) plug them in 1 at a time!  I plugged them in together and when I turned on the PC, saw the pre-post screen and it auto restarted.  Kept troubleshooting, unplugging and replugging into other slots, resetting the CMOS, NOTHING.  Not until I unplugged the 8 pin CPU plug and decided "why the fuck not" to plug them in 1 at a time, and it WORKED!  I was getting close to either bringing it to a computer shop or just getting a new PC altogether.  That kind of shit I fucking hate when dealing with PC's.

Well gaming on PC is my main hobby, so when I do spend my money (which is not often) I want to play the latest games on the highest settings and resolutions.

I just finished Kingdom Come Deliverance, and even on my setup I had to put the graphics settings to around medium.
