DemonSeed asked me some questions in the other thread but it's locked, so im gonna reply here.
I recorded the time in my own local server because i got banned from both the recruitement and regular server.
The point wasn't to break your record but to show that my time that matched rao's time wasn't a fluke.
My local server has a fps limit of 50, maybe the recruitement server has a lower limit.
Regardless, i think you can see i'm not a hacker. The person who supposibly banned me hasn't even spoken up yet.
I still don't know why am i banned and neither does anyone else. All things considered i think i deserve to be unbanned.

None of the bans in the ban listings match your IP(s)
I fail to see how your banned apart from having a serial ban. I unbanned your current IP that you posted with here, see if you can join the server if not post here again.

As an objective outsider, can i just give my opinion -
Since no-one seems to know why he was banned, or who banned him - i would have thought he should be given the benefit of the doubt this time.
In my considerable experience, it seems highly unlikely he would go to this much effort and be so persistant in protesting his innocence if he was guilty of cheating.
I say give the guy a break! But sure keep an eye on him.

is possible ban somebody who is not in the server in the moment that you ban him? dunno, maybe some bug banned he but he's not a hacker, he should be unbanned, I hope you will be unbanned

There is a bug i've seen a few times where someone gets banned and other people on the server at the time get banned too.

That type of bug would be extremely hard to squish :s

Well, fortunately it seems to be a very rare bug. I've only seen it happen twice since 1.0 was released.

I banned a cheater on the server not long ago, I only typed the ban command once but it bant 2 ppl.
They were in the same room/house (same IP ftl). Is this your bug?

No this was different - it was on MgC one of the admins banned someone, and for some reason it banned everyone who was on the server including the admin lolz

I'm still banned. It's not a serial ban i think.
I banned my own serial from my local server just to see what message i would get, and its a different one than the message i get on the SiK server.
Could it be that something is wrong with that SiK defense system or whatever its called. You know, that thing that sometimes says "returning cheater detected"?

There is a bug i've seen a few times where someone gets banned and other people on the server at the time get banned too.
You might be talking about the automated defense ban which is not a bug. It's purpose seems simple, reban anybody that circumvents their previous ban. And yes this guy could be innocent but take a look at the Airbourne unban plea. That guy wouldn't admit he cheated even though I and Grim saw him cheat. And the max client fps is 45 (not sure about recruitment server).

Ok well currently are you able to get into the server at all? Or when you try to connect does it instantly say your banned?
The fact that your also banned from the recruitment server surprises me, not many people get banned from there, and the automatic defense system is not in effect on that server.

From what I know about these glitch bans is they ban by serial and give a banned serial message. This guy is not banned by serial, somebody banned him.

If someone had banned him it would show up in the ban list.. who banned him and everything.
He is not in there..

technically the automatic ban adds an entry to the banlist so if that too does not occur than I have no idea whats happening.

I can join the recruitement server now, but i'm still banned from the main server.
I can't join the server, it instantly gives me the message "Disconnected: You are banned from this server".

I entered your IP into both servers to unban you, bleh i'll unban all your IPs from the main server see if it makes any difference.

Indeed instantly giving that message means he's IP banned.

This guy is unbant.
Either from:
1. The 1.0.1 downgrade (upgrade).
2. Someone unbant him somehow.
3. Magical server fairies.
